You and your kids will love to visit Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. It is known for its attractions and for the beautiful, clean beaches.  When here you will have the time of your life on Jenkinsons Boardwalk.   Its the perfect seaside playground and is considered the best attraction around. Includes an Aquarium, Amusement Park, arcades, and plenty of games of chance. There are also three mini-golf courses, batting cages, and sweet shops to satisfy your sweet tooth. There are many options for dining too.  Enjoy oceanside dining or grab a quick bite to eat at one of the many concession stands on the boardwalk. Spend the whole day at beautiful well kept beaches.

Point Pleasant Beach –  Beaches in NJ

There is both public access and private beaches in Point Pleasant Beach.  The southern end of town is comprised of a public access beach. Lifeguards are present from 9 am to 5 pm each day.  Entrance is on Ocean Avenue.

To the north, you will find Bradshaw Beach. There is a small shed which sells seasonal as well as daily beach badges. The area of the boardwalk is owned privately. Access to this beach is monitored at all entrance points. Daily and seasonal beach badges can be purchased at these entrances. In addition, Martells offers access to the portion of the beach immediately surrounding the Tiki Bar. Here, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are served by waitress service.

In the summer, Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk gets pretty crowded!  Friday and Saturday Nights are packed with visitors from all over the area. Weekdays are typically not crowded until school lets out in mid June. The municipal parking lot is metered and a quarter buys you 20 minutes. There are also a few private pay lots that charge from $4.00 to $20.00 depending on the crowds and the time of year. You will find metered parking on Ocean Avenue and a few adjacent streets. If free parking is what you have in mind, be prepared to walk a few blocks!.
